Freshness, Colour and Aroma
A Note on Freshness and Expiry Dates
- You will notice our products do not have an expiry date listed on the bottles. Why you might ask? We have all our products made at our lab in Mississauga in fairly small batches. We receive products the week they are made and sell them within a 3 month period. Our products are made to last 18 months from the date of production. After this time it is likely that they will still be good but it’s possible that the aroma and natural colour of the products may have diminished. The quicker you use them, the fresher and better they are, so we recommend you to use your product(s) within 6 months of the date of purchase for optimal efficacy.
Keeping your Products as Fresh as Possible
- All of our products are made with natural ‘plant powered’ ingredients. That being said, we formulate all of our products with all natural preservatives (such as grapefruit seed extract, sodium lactate, rosemary leaf extract and vitamin E) to help prolong their shelf life. To further maximize the shelf life of your products, we suggest keeping them in a cool (or at least not overly warm) place, and if possible not exposed to direct sunlight. If you want to extend their efficacy, you may want to keep your products in a dark cold place, such as a fridge.
A Note on Color and Aroma Variation
- Graydon products are made using a variety of natural, organic plant ingredients. Variations of colour, aroma and consistency can occur from batch to batch and are simply a result of natural variations in the raw materials used to make our products and in no way impacts their efficacy.
